About Third Coast Rhythm Project

Third Coast Rhythm Project is a San Antonio, TX-based dance organization comprised of an annual tap and percussive dance festival, a performing youth tap company known as RPM Youth Tap Ensemble and a home studio offering tap classes and training to all skill levels.

Third Coast Rhythm Project presents, promotes and fosters a greater understanding of American tap dance by producing world-class educational forums, community outreach programs, and concerts, building bridges between diverse communities of dancers and audience members.

The Festival

San Antonio is host to internationally acclaimed rhythm masters in a 4-day extravaganza of American tap dance and contemporary percussive arts. Now in its 18th year, this unique event attracts dancers, choreographers, educators, musicians and rhythm explorers from around the globe every Summer to study, share, and fine tune their craft.

The Tap Academy

The Academy is a community of dance educators, choreographers, performing artists and musicians.  The studio provides a hub for learning, exploring, sharing, and creating new works and offers year round classes, workshops, community outreach, seasonal performances and more.

RPM Youth Tap Ensemble

RPM Youth Tap Ensemble provides opportunities for young hoofers to work with some of the most renowned tap dance masters & choreographers from around the country. The company provides educational, leadership and performance opportunities, exploring this unique American art form and its musical roots.
